Objectives
OBJECTIVE
Dept. of Environmental Education in Korea National University of Education aims at cultivating excellent educational talent to lead environmental educational field with wide understanding regarding the environmental problem that is getting more important day by day in the modern society. More specifically, we train environmental teachers specializing in environment subjects and research and develop methodologies and contents of environmental education creatively. We especially pioneer development of school environmental education, and furthermore, place the main character of our department in training talents to contribute to solve the environmental issue that is a serious problem in modern society through profound investigation about environmental science that is a main background study of environmental education. Finally, our department graduates are equipped with profound scientific knowledge about every field of environmental science as well as balanced comprehensive insights related to environmental problems, and at the same time, they build respectable aptitude as an educator and are expected to serve as human resources who is excellent in environmental educational field.
