In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, KNUE is addressing rapid social changes and environmental and population crises by evolving into a leading global teacher-training institute for K-Education. We are committed to expanding our collaborative relationships with teacher-training institutions worldwide each year to drive the international growth of K-Education.

To establish KNUE as a central hub for teacher training in Korea, we acknowledge the need to cultivate not only character and academic skills in teacher education but also a deep understanding of the international community. Accordingly, we have signed sisterhood and academic exchange agreements with 45 universities and 14 institutions both domestically and internationally. These agreements support a range of initiatives, including faculty and student exchanges, educational volunteering, overseas training, and international education practical.

We are actively pursuing the following initiatives to lead the future of education, characterized by multicultural and digital elements, and to cultivate the six essential competencies in our students: innovative response, empathetic communication, inclusive leadership, creative and convergent practice, glocal competencies, and educational expertise.

First, we aim to build cooperative relationships and foster exchanges with teacher-training universities and institutions around the world to promote mutual growth in educational and academic fields.

Second, we aim to develop "global-leading teachers" equipped with the international skills needed for future educational settings. This will be achieved through various programs, including overseas training, international education practical, student exchange programs, and credit transfer opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Third, we aim to attract outstanding international students seeking to gain expertise in education through our structured curricula and various programs. This includes offering a global education leadership major in collaboration with government agencies such as KOICA and initiatives like CAMPUS Asia+

Through these efforts, KNUE solidifies its status as Korea’s premier comprehensive university of education. We are at the forefront of shaping the future of education by promoting the global expansion of K-Education—rich with our accumulated content and expertise—while also cultivating exceptional Korean teachers with global competencies.
