Korea National University of Education is the only specialized comprehensive teacher education university in Korea that fulfills its three main objectives:leading education for future generations through comprehensive education of teachers in kindergarten, elementary schools, and secondary schools, continually training current teachers, and researching about the theories and practices of education.
KNUE runs a residential educational program in order to let the students realize the true values of love, confidence, and patience. The future teacher, through living closely by the residential education program, will become an educational leader of great compassion, service, consideration, elegance, morals, self-motivation, cooperation, understanding, and tolerance.
